A good jump off point is getting inspiration from notable sites. Here are some websites that picked my interest.
1. JENNI EPPERSON. http://jenniepperson.com/
I first learned about her from Ruffa G.'s twit. I got interested in her fashionable-dashed-with-light-humor style of writing about family, fashion, food and fun. She recently launched her own self-named site. A fusion of the sites where she got started blogging, http://welovejenni.blogspot.com/ and http://jenniepperson.blogspot.com/. Her blog surely inspires new bloggers!
2. PINOY BYAHERO. http://pinoybyahero.blogspot.com/
Pinoy byahero is an interesting site that talks about the places PB visited and his travel experience which includes the food, people, structures, accommodations, tourist spots. He encourages me as the reader to go to these places too! Noticeable in his site that he has gone to a good number of destinations, in the Philippines and abroad. His page gives a bird's eye view of the places he has gone to for us to choose which one to check out first.
3. COOKING AND ME. http://www.cookingandme.com/
The author is Nags, a foodie and photographer who keeps a diary of her kitchen adventures. She captures her dishes skillfully with her SLR camera and even gives tips on how to take food pictures. She has a list of interesting indian dishes which I intend to try out soon.
