Conflict is a fact of life but its a choice on how we handle it because conflicts are not necessarily bad, they can actually help us grow.

Most conflicts arise from the manner we communicate with others.

How do we come across? People read us this way:
7% from our words
55% from our body language
38% from our tone

So even if we mean good, but our body language and tone say differently, we don't communicate properly and we don't get desired good results

God's desire is for us to enjoy life to the fullest and work is integrated in the enjoyment of life.

God's promise:
But seek ye first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.  Matthew 6:33

Follow your COMPASS not your CLOCK

Know what you want, then prioritize around it
.
Alex' example of daily goals (his compass)
Goal 1 - Relationship with God - work on it through Bible reading and prayer time
Goal 2 - Relationship with Family - spend quality time
Goal 3 -  Work Performance - focus for better outpu
Goal 4 - Personal Growth - do physical workout and observe eating habits to maintain good health, for mental development, do constant reading
Goal 5 - Ministry - service in church through a discipleship group

In the process, expect trade offs because we cannot do all things all the time,
but what matters is that we know what matters.. we know what and how to prioritize

Do away with the non-essentials..

SUCCESS is determined by your DAILY AGENDA - Maxwell

I WRITE to make my mind FREE of other things - Einstein

Self Check Questions:
1. What are my daily activities and where do i spend my time?
2. How does this message affect my planning of daily acitivites?
3. What changes can i make to make my routine balanced?
